How Decisions Are Made
The Longfellow PTO is committed to transparency, collaboration, and shared decision-making. Members vote on important matters including:
Annual budgets
Funding requests
New programs and initiatives
Changes to PTO policies and priorities
Election of the Board of Directors
Great ideas can come from anyone! If you have a suggestion for a new program, event, or funding request, we'd love to hear it.
To be considered at an upcoming General Membership Meeting, please submit an Idea Proposal Form 7 days before the next board meeting so it can be reviewed by the Board, added to the agenda and shared with members in advance. Submissions are sent to the President.
We believe our members should always know how decisions are made and how PTO funds are invested.
For that reason, we make the following documents available to our community:
Los Compadres is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. You can make a tax deductible donation to the Los Compadres at any time.
