Dust off your flannel, grab your slap bracelet, and get ready to rewind to the 90s for Longfellow’s most important fundraiser of the year!
Our annual Silent Auction is ALL THAT — bringing together our community for a night of throwback fun with a powerful purpose. Funds raised directly support our students and teachers by helping pay for classroom resources, field trips, arts enrichment, community events, and so much more.
From amazing experiences and gift baskets to local favorites and one-of-a-kind items, there’s something for everyone to bid on — and every bid helps our school thrive.
✨ Why it matters:
This event plays a critical role in funding the programs that make Longfellow such a vibrant, inclusive, and joyful place for our students. When you show up, bid big, or donate, you’re making a real difference.
📼 So cue up the nostalgia, hit play, and join us for a night that’s phat, fresh, and totally for the kids.
Because supporting Longfellow?
That’s da bomb. 💥
Our Longfellow PTO, believes fundraising should support our students without overwhelming our families. That’s why we keep our focus on three major fundraisers each year:
Annual Giving Campaign (Auguest/September) – direct support for our school programs
Jog-a-thon (November) – a fun, healthy event for all students
Silent Auction (March) – a community celebration and our largest fundraiser
Together, these three events provide the majority of funding for field trips, arts education, science enrichment, the garden program, and community events.
In addition, we occasionally host optional “dine out” gatherings. These are designed first and foremost as community-building events—a chance to connect with other Longfellow families. Any funds raised are a bonus.
By focusing on fewer, high-impact fundraisers, we aim to:
Respect families’ time and resources
Reduce “fundraising fatigue”
Ensure every dollar raised directly benefits our students
Thank you for supporting our school and helping us create a vibrant, enriching experience for all Longfellow learners!
