We have pumpkins. The flowers were open pollinated while I was out of town. The teachers have the first two pumpkins with the students right behind.
A good friendly competition between student and parents. Who will grow the heaviest pumpkin?
Middle school classes at Longfellow are growing giant pumpkins. Lead by hobbist and father of 3 at Longfellow, Nevin Kleege, is helping our students grow competition sized giant pumpkings.
